Soar Above Black’s Beach
at the Torrey Pines Gliderport
I can’t think of a better adventure in San Diego than to soar above Black’s Beach and the cliffs at Torrey Pines. I visited the Torrey Pines Gliderport last weekend, right after the rains, and it was a beautiful, busy day, with many pilots taking off and landing. Where else can you enjoy a fantastic view, front row seats, and plenty of parking in La Jolla. It’s all free for spectators, and a great Valentine’s day treat. My dear friend George is starting to work on his “bucket list” (things to do before you kick the bucket), and he chose paragliding for his birthday gift.
