Come join in the fun and scary 2012 San Diego Halloween Events. My favorite scary Halloween activity in San Diego is the Scream Zone. Check out their cool website below. There are also many pumpkin patches, Halloween parties and fun events for children this Halloween in San Diego. And some adult only Halloween 2012 parties, like Halloween 2012 Monster Bash party in the Gaslamp Quarter.
Scream Zone Del Mar - September 28 - 29, October 4 - 7, 11 - 14, 17 - 21, 24 - 31 2012. The best San Diego Halloween adventure awaits you at the Scream Zone at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, Sat and Sun 7 PM to midnight, check website for other nights availability. Tickets cost $14.99 for one scary adventure, $27.99 for all three - Haunted Hayride, House of Horror and The Chamber. Beware of ghouls, zombies & monsters. Driving Directions to the Scream Zone - From Interstate 5 in Del Mar, exit at Via De La Valle, turn west (right turn going south on I-5; left turn going north). Go 3/10 mile and turn left to enter the Del Mar fairgrounds through the Solana Gate. Follow the signs to The Scream Zone parking and entrance.

The Haunted Hotel - tent. September 29 - October 31 2012 in the Gaslamp Quarter at 424 market St. Tickets on sale now for this annual horror-house scream fest. Not for children 10 and younger or those easily frightened. Fri and Sat 6 PM - 1 AM, Sun, Wed and Thurs 7 PM - 11 PM. Closed Monday and Tuesday except for 10/22 – 10/23 and 10/29. Tickets on sale now – buy online to avoid waiting in line. Tickets cost $17 on Friday and Saturday, $15 other nights (or save - only $15 online). Only for brave souls willing to scream. Driving Directions to the Haunted Hotel - The Haunted Hotel is located at 424 Market Street, San Diego, CA at the corner of Fourth & Market. From I-5 south, exit 10th Avenue, merge on 163 South and continue to 10th Ave., right on Market. Park in nearby garage or outdoor parking lot.
If you are taking the Trolley: Closest stops are “Fifth” off of the Blue Line and “Convention Center” or “ Gaslamp Quarter” if you are taking the Orange Line.
Halloween Disneyland and Mickey's Halloween Party 2012 tentative dates September 15 - October 31 2012, and party on select nights - For a fun family Halloween adventure, spend Halloween at Disneyland. Haunted Trail of Balboa Park - tentative dates September 29 - October 31 2012 at Balboa Park in San Diego, Cal. Tickets half price on opening night. Walk on the dark and scary side on the trails at Marston Point in Balboa Park for a San Diego Halloween adventure. Ages 10 and up. 7 PM Wed - Sun. also Mon and Tues Oct 29 - 30. Bates Nut Farm - September 29 - October 31 2012 at Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center. Get in the spirit of Halloween at San Diego Bates Nut Farm. Pumpkin patch, picnic, farm zoo, straw maze and hay rides. $9 gets you a tractor hay ride, walk through the straw maze and pick your own Jack-O-Lantern, or you can buy just one item or ride. Pumpkin Station - Late September - October 31 2012 at various locations including near the Del Mar Fairgrounds. A Pumpkin wonderland of fun. Giant slide, rides, magic & comedy shows, petting zoo, games and of course all sizes of pumpkins. Coupon for one free train ride can be found in various coupon magazines.
Legoland Brick-or-Treat Celebration - tentative dates October 6, 13, 20, 27 and 31 2012 at Legoland in Carlsbad. Wear your costume and enjoy a San Diego Halloween event at Lego land. Cost included in regular park admission price. The Brick-or-Treat Halloween party night has extra fun from 5-9 PM Saturdays through Halloween, but last year there was also Halloween trick or treat trail on Sat from 12 - 9 and Sun 12 - 5. SeaWorld San Diego Halloween Spooktacular - tentative dates weekends and Halloween Day October 6 - October 30 2012 from 1 - 6 PM at Sea World San Diego. October at the Whaley House 2012 - late October (check their website for additional dates) in Historic Old Town San Diego. This haunted house in San Diego has special events for the 2012 Halloween season, including guided oil lamp tours, cemetery tours, and after-hours ghost hunt. Balboa Park Halloween Family Day - Saturday October 27 2012. Spend the day at Balboa Park at this third annual Halloween Family Day. Kids 17 and under will be admitted free to all museums with a paid adult admission. Hands-on activities, music, performances and special programs including a doggie costume contest at the Spanish Village Art Center and a Great Pumpkin parachute at the San Diego Air and Space Museum.
