Adventureland Treehouse

The Adventureland Treehouse replaced the prior Tarzan Treehouse. It is loosely based upon the Swiss Family Robinson story, and features a room for each member of the family. The bottom floor will have a living room and dining room that are accessible without having to climb up the treehouse. Who doesn't love a treehouse?

Alice in Wonderland

Astro Orbitor

An outdoor spinner ride that allows you to pilot your own rocket ship. Pull or push the lever inside the rocket ship to fly higher or lower. Popular with toddlers and young kids, this was our 4-year old son’s favorite ride at Disneyland.

Autotopia

Drive your own car on this outdoor scenic highway in this classic attraction from Disneyland. This is the only existing attraction in Tomorrowland that is one of the original rides at Disneyland from 1955. Autotopia remains popular with all ages.

Autotopia Minimum Height Requirement: 32 inches (81 cm) or taller to ride, must be 54 inches (137 cm) or taller to drive.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

A thrilling outdoor mine train roller coaster through a Western landscape and haunted goldmine. One of my favorite rides at Disneyland!

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters

One of the Toy Story rides at Disneyland. An interactive shooting game where you help Buzz Lightyear defeat Zurg to save the toy world. Track your points on the electronic dashboard on your space cruiser, and at the end, see how you rank vs others in your group. You’ll want to ride again and improve your score. This is a great indoor ride, suitable for all ages of Toy Story fans.

Casey Jr. Circus Train

A mini-train ride on Casey Jr. that takes you on a tour around Storybook Land, to see some classic fairy tale sites from Frozen, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid and more. This is one of the original rides at Disneyland Park from 1955.

Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes

Paddle a 20-passenger canoe around Tom Sawyer island and discover the wonders of the frontier – without technology. A great way to take a break from the crowed and see parts of Frontierland, new Orleans Square and Critter Country. If you pay attention, you might see a Native American village, moose and beavers. Closes before dark.

Disneyland Monorail

Ride the Disneyland Monorail for great views and a 13-minute round-trip journey around Disneyland park. Catch the ride at the Tomorrowland station near Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, or from the Downtown Disney District station as a way to enter or leave the park.

A classic train ride that takes you around the park with 4 stops. This is a great way to take a break from walking, see different areas of Disneyland park, and travel to another land. If you ride the full route, it is 18 minutes.

Dumbo the Flying Elephant

A classic flying elephant ride that lets you control the height. This is one of the original rides at Disneyland and is very popular with young children, and the line can be long.

Enchanted Tiki Room

This classic Disneyland attraction is an indoor musical show featuring hundreds of animated singing birds and enchanted tikis. The show appeals to all ages, and is a nice break during the day, to sit down in an indoor setting. Outside in the patio, you will find the Tiki Juice Bar where you can order the popular Pineapple Dole Whip on your mobile device.

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage

Climb into this yellow submarine and explore the undersea world of "Finding Nemo." See if you can find Nemo, Marlin, Dory, Peach, Crush and more characters from Finding Nemo.

Haunted Mansion

A spooky, dark ride through a haunted mansion filled with ghosts and ghouls. If you are looking for one of the scariest rides at Disneyland, this isn’t really it, unless you are afraid of the dark or friendly ghosts. One of the top rides at Disneyland.

Indiana Jones Adventure

If you are looking for the Indiana Jones ride Disneyland, this is it! One of the top rides at Disneyland, and might be one of the scariest rides at Disneyland. Enter the Chamber of Destiny and confront collapsing bridges, slithering snakes and of course a massive rolling boulder. Will Dr. Jones be able to save you? An exciting thrill ride inspired by the Indiana Jones movies.

It's a Small World Disneyland Ride

An indoor boat ride featuring singing dolls representing various cultures around the world. It’s a Small World ride was created for the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair, then moved to Disneyland California where it opened in 1966. This is a Walt Disney classic attraction that remains popular, but take note – the song goes on for a long time. Personally, I prefer the Little Mermaid ride at California Adventure park, but since this is a classic, it is worth riding – just once. This is one of the best Disneyland rides for babies.

Take a boat cruise on a river, through jungles and encounter humorous adventures along the way. This is one of the original rides at Disneyland California, which opened in 1955.

King Arthur Carrousel

A classic carrousel featuring beautifully decorated horses. This is another one of the original rides at Disneyland California, which opened in 1955. This is one of the best Disneyland rides for babies.

Mad Tea Party

Enjoy the Mad Hatter’s tea party from the classic Alice in Wonderland. Ride a spinning teacup with your friends, where you can control the spinning speed. This is another one of the original rides at Disneyland California.

Mark Twain Riverboat

Scenic ride aboard a 19th-century paddle boat. You will see some of the same sights as the Canoe ride, without doing the work. This attraction closes before dark.

Matterhorn Bobsleds

An iconic roller coaster through the snow-capped Matterhorn Mountain on a speeding bobsled. Watch out for the Abominable Snowman. On most days, 2 different bobsled tracks are open: one on the Fantasyland side of the mountain, and the other on the Tomorrowland side. Yes, this is a Disneyland "E Ticket" ride - one of the best classic rides.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

Who can resist a chance to ride in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, the fastest ship in the Galaxy. This is one of the new Star Wars Rides at Disneyland, located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Your team will have pilots, engineers and gunners, and everyone gets a role. Another one of the best ride at Disneyland!

Start your journey with a trip down memory lane, and a cartoon short of the beloved characters, Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Catch a ride on the train with Engineer Goofy, and see how things quickly go wrong on Mickey Minnie runaway railway at Disneyland. One of the best new rides at Disneyland.

An indoor buggy ride following the misadventures of Mr. Toad.

Peter Pan's Flight

A suspended indoor ride following Peter Pan's journey to Neverland. This is the most popular ride at Disneyland in Fantasyland, so if the line is short, take the opportunity to ride the Peter Plan ride at Disneyland. This is also one of the original rides at Disneyland.

Pinocchio's Daring Journey

An indoor ride retelling the classic story of Pinocchio, who dreamed of becoming a real boy. Enjoy the famous song “When You Wish Upon A Star”, made famous in the 1940 Disney animation classic Pinocchio.

Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island

Hop on the log raft across the river and explore Tom Sawyer island. Explore the caves and frontier fort, or just walk around the island. This is one of my favorite places to go at Disneyland to get away from it all.

Pirates of the Caribbean

An indoor boat ride through scenes of pirates and treasure in the Caribbean. See if you can see Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, and the iconic dog holding the key. Pirates of the Caribbean remains on of the most popular rides at Disneyland since it opened in 1967.

Sailing Ship Columbia

Ride the Columbia, a full-scale replica of a historic 18th-century sailing ship. The cruise goes around Tom Sawyer Island and you can see the same sights as your would see on the Mark Twain Riverboat or Davy Crockettt’s Explorer Canoe ride.

Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough

A self-guided tour through the story of "Sleeping Beauty" inside the castle passageways. The Sleeping Beauty Castle is one of the most photographed sites within Disneyland California. Don't forget to take a selfie outside the castle.

Space Mountain

A thrilling indoor roller coaster through outer space, as you fly through infinite darkness surrounded by galaxies. This is one of the fastest rollercoaster rides at Disneyland park, and is one of the most thrilling but for some scary rides in Disneyland.

Splash Mountain Disneyland ride closed on May 31, 2023. It was a log flume ride with characters from Disney's "Song of the South." Located in Critter Country, Splash Mountain will be re-themed to The Princess and the Frog.

The Disneyland Star Tours ride is one of my favorites. Ride the 3D motion simulator ride through the "Star Wars" galaxy. You will jump to hyperspace to legendary destinations from the Star Wars series with your tour guide, C-3PO. There are different adventures with new worlds and characters from different adventures, including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. If the line is short, ride multiple times and see different worlds. This is one of the Disneyland Star Wars Rides.

Ride a 12-person boat tour through miniature scenes from beloved Disney fairy tales, including Frozen, Three Little Pigs, Alice in Wonderland and The Little Mermaid.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

If you are looking for the Star Wars Rides at Disneyland, this is one of them. Join the Resistance in a battle against the evil First Order – Rey and BB-8 will need your help! Many consider this the best ride at Disneyland! But beware - for some, it can be one of the scariest rides at Disneyland.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure

Tiana's Bayou Adventure is scheduled to open in 2024, as a reimagined Splash Mountain Disneyland ride, which closed on May 31, 2023. It will remain the log flume ride with the famous drop at the end. The Princess and the Frog themed ride will be renamed Tiana's Bayou Adventure.
