If you are a Star Wars fan, you must visit Disneyland California. In addition to new adventures in the Star Tours ride, a new Star Wars land has opened - at Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland park. There you will find two of the new best rides at Disneyland: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

Disney has created a whole new world at Galaxy's Edge, with restaurants, shops, a cantina and of course new rides. These rides are a new generation of rides, which provide more interaction between the guests and the ride. You will not be disappointed!

While visiting Galaxy's Edge, consider dining at one of the Star Wars restaurants.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Join the Resistance in a battle against the evil First Order – Rey and BB-8 will need your help! Many consider this the best ride at Disneyland! But beware - for some, it can be one of the scary rides in Disneyland, if you are afraid of imperial stormtroopers.

Individual Lightening Lane purchase is available for this ride. It is currently not part of the Genie Plus Lightening Lane. The best way to avoid the long lines is to purchase the individual Lightening Lane pass and reserve your time. Other option is to try to visit at the end of the day. As long as you get in line before the park closing time, you will get to go on the ride, unless it breaks down which happens.

What is the height requirement for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Disneyland Ride? Minimum of 40 inches (102 cm) tall. But ride height is not the only issue. This attraction may be too scary for some children. Rider swap is available as an option.

This is one of the best Disneyland rides for adults! It is located in Galaxy's Edge.

Who can resist a chance to ride in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, the fastest ship in the Galaxy. Your team will have pilots, engineers and gunners, and everyone gets a role. Another one of the best ride at Disneyland!

What is the height requirement for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run Disneyland Ride?: Minimum 40 inches (102 cm) tall. This is not as scary of a ride as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. The kids will have fun helping fly the ship or pushing buttons.

Single Rider Line is available for this ride. Each ship hold 6 participants, so if you are willing to be a single rider, you can fill an open spot and enjoy a shorter wait.

Want to travel to a Star Wars galaxy? Star Tours is here to give you a pleasant journey, or at least that is their plan. Before the ride, you can watch the droids at work. Once in your spacecraft, you will jump to hyperspace to legendary destinations from the Star Wars series in a 3D motion simulator. It has been updated with many new adventures, so each ride is typically a new galactic experience, with diferent worlds and characters to delight Star Wars fans. This is one of the best Star Wars Rides in Disneyland, and has been one of my favorite Disneyland rides for years.

What is the Height Requirement for Star Tours Ride: Minimum 40 inches (102 cm) tall.

Single Rider Line: Not available, although at the head of the line you might be able to save a few minutes of wait time for small parties of 1 or 2 people to fill available seats.

Lightening Lane Ride: Yes, you can use your Genie+ Disneyland reservation to use the lightening lane. Sometimes to wait time for Star Tours is short, especially in the early morning, so you might be able to get on with a short wait, and book a different ride using your Genie+ reservation system

If you are a Star Wars fan looking for some of the best places to eat at Disneyland, I would suggest 2 places in Galaxy's Edge.

Oga's Cantina Disneyland: The local cantina, where bounty hunters and smugglers of all ages from all over the galaxy come together to refuel and enjoy music. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and exotic dinner menu items for younglings and adults (including alcoholic choices). Reservations are recommended, but there is a walk-up wait list too. Seating is limited.

Docking Bay 7 Disneyland: This local eatery in Galaxy's Edge offers a variety of galactic, American and vegan food in a fun setting. You can sit inside the hangar bay, or outside at a table. Open for lunch and dinner. One of my favorite places to eat at Disneyland!
